Mandelbrot Screenshot

Summary

This program took a quick few hours to write up but shows off the power of the video card. Using my DarkForge engine, I simply draw a 2D quad and put the quad through the HLSL shader. The shader takes over and draws the fractal with an iteration count capped at 1,000 and coloring using a one dimensional texture (Figure 1).
